Remember the video last week where a dog attacked a kid? And the kid's cat fought it off? Well, the cat's name is Tara and it threw out the first pitch at a minor league baseball game in Bakersfield, California on Tuesday.

If you're wondering how that's possible, it's not. They did it by drilling a hole through a ball, and putting fishing line through it that stretched from the mound to home plate.  Then the cat's owner used its paw to push it down the line.

As lame as that sounds, it was even lamer... because it didn't work. In the end the owner just tossed a ball to the catcher.
