Tomorrow night there is in incredible art show in Kennewick by DrewBoy Creative highlighting mental illness. Sponsored by Lourdes Health Network, NAMI Tri-Cities, and Castle Event Catering, the show is set to focus on mental illness and its impact not only on those who suffer from illness, but all those affected. The goals of the art show are: to unravel the negative stereotypes associated with mental illness, for people to openly share stories about mental illness, to create art that encourages empathy for those afflicted and more.

According Emily Richman, one of the organizers, "It's different from when you go see a show that's one artist, and it has a theme, or has a similar look. But, because these are different artists visions along the theme of mental health and mental illness, it's really varied." Some of the artists will be speaking about their art and inspiration, and the space is open for all to have discussions about mental illness. There will also be a video booth. A filmmaker is creating a short documentary about the show and is going to have a booth to have folks talk about their relationship with mental illness and mental health.

The reception starts at 6 pm at 285 Williams Blvd, Richland. There is no cost for admission, but there is a $4 suggested donation which goes to DrewBoy Creative and the production of the video. Go check out some unique and
