A Richland man was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after he plowed his pickup truck into several parked vehicles in Kennewick. The collision occurred in the 500 block of North Morain Street.

26-year old Zachary Olsen was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence. Olsen reportedly was traveling at a high rate of speed near the intersection of North Morain Street and North Neel Street when his vehicle crossed over the median and crashed into multiple vehicles.

Police say Olsen demonstrated clear impairment. It's estimated he was traveling between 60-70 mph. The speed limit is 35 mph in the area.

No one was injured in the collision.

Police remind us that it is NOT ok to drink and drive. If you're drinking, call an uber. Call a friend. Stay where you are. Do NOT get behind the wheel.

A DUI can be punishable by six months or up to a year in jail. Your driver's license can be revoked for up to two years.
