Richland Police are actively investigating a shooting Friday morning.

The incident was reported around 3 am near the intersection of Duportail Street and Sanford Avenue.

The newspaper delivery person was driving when a silver vehicle approached his vehicle and opened fire. The silver vehicle took off traveling west on Duportail Street.

Police were not able to locate the suspect vehicle or shooter.

Evidence was recovered.

After investigation, Police found bullet holes in the victim's vehicle and shell casings were found on the road.

As of this time, Police have no motive for the shooting. No one was injured in the incident.
