Robert M. “Bob” Kildall, Founder of Bob’s Burgers and Brew Has Passed
Regional businessman and entrepreneur Robert M. "Bob" Kildall passed away on Wednesday. He was the founder of the popular regional Bob's Burgers and Brew restaurants.
Bob Kildall was raised on a farm near Lynden, Washington. He went served in the military. After, Bob knew that farming wasn't for him. He needed a job and started flipping burgers. Soon, Bob became the manager.
Over the years, Bob ran and owned many fast-food restaurants and bars.
Bob wanted to be successful in the industry. A plan was made to provide a casual dining restaurant featuring outstanding food and burgers.
In 1982, Bob's Burgers & Brew was founded, featuring a simple menu of gourmet burgers and other favorites from previous restaurants, including a lounge for adult dining. The new restaurant caught on quickly.
From the Kennewick Bob's Burgers and Brew Facebook:
Bob's kids are involved with the business and have helped open several locations throughout the region.
Robert M. "Bob" Kildall was dedicated to his commitment to quality, value, and passion for excellence. He enjoyed opening new restaurants.
Bob's legacy lives on at all the restaurants, both family-owned and franchised.
