Simply Refuse to Wear a Mask? Tri-Cities Police Won’t Cite You

As the face mask controversy continues on the eve of mandatory state wide usage (tomorrow 6/26), Kennewick Police are making it clear that it's not their job to enforce wearing one. Richland and Pasco police concur. Naturally they recommend it, but will not bother with writing you a citation or detaining you if you are mask free. More and more stores and businesses will likely be requiring the use of face masks so here's hoping the mask haters start to use a little common sense and courtesy. But for those who are ALONE in their car wearing a mask...everyone is still laughing at you.
