Sunnyside Police are looking for the driver of a black sedan who struck a student.

The alleged incident took place Wednesday morning at the Sunnyside High School parking lot. The driver did not stop, leaving the school lot at East Edison Avenue and South 16th Street.

Police Officers responded to the parking lot shortly after 8 am for reports of a hit and run. Upon arrival, police found the injured student. A parent of one of the injured teen's friends transported him to a nearby hospital.

Sunnyside Police are hoping to locate the driver of the alleged incident.
