Suspect Sought In 129 MPH Tuesday Morning Chase
A containment area has been set up near a market at 4th and Rainier in Kennewick, after a Tuesday morning high speed chase that led from I-182, to Pasco then Kennewick.
Around 10AM A Washington State Patrol trooper clocked the suspect vehicle on I-182 near Pasco at 116 MPH. The trooper and others gave chase and speeds reached 129 MPH!
Then the suspect was chased towards Kennewick, onto city streets before officers broke off the pursuit for safety reasons. However, a few minutes later, the suspect vehicle was found parked and abandoned at The City Market at 4th and Rainier.
The containment area was set up, and according to sources, police are searching the area for the driver. Police said the registered owner of the car, Eduardo Felix, 34, of Kennewick, is being sought on felony firearm possession charges, but they are not sure if he was the driver.
The search and investigation continues.
