I might be too young for the memory of the boat races from the 1980's, but one year really stands out and that is 1987.

After a bittersweet 40 year long sponsorship of Hydro Racing The O'Boy Oberto has retired. It was announced last year at the season-ending San Diego Bayfair race on Mission Bay, that Oberto would no longer be a sponsor of a Hydro Boat.
