Today through Monday the top-performing high school students in Washington state will compete at the rodeo finals at the Benton-Franklin Fairgrounds.

We had a great time at Cowgirl College! Real Cowboys like Bullfighter Rowdy Barry, and Rodeo Clown "JJ" and a few others, came out and taught us a bit about roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, and barrel racing!

The 2012 Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo Royalty stopped by for a visit with Big Jim & myself this morning. The theme of this years fair is "Rock With The Stock" which kicks off Tuesday August 21st -25th.
