On October 3, 2017 the members of the Tri-City Country Club, the oldest golf course in the Tri-Cities, unanimously voted to transfer ownership of club assets to a group of 20 members organized as Save the Club LLC. The change in ownership was due to financial difficulties that have occurred over the past few years.

The Tri-City Country Club which has been in operation since 1938 (79 Years) will be under new ownership beginning in January of 2018 and will now fully operate as a public course!

An interesting story in the Tri-City Herald today talks about profits and losses at Columbia Point Golf Course. The California based management company wants the city to add and events center to the facility in hopes that it would bring more profits instead of it's current losses.
