A number of Tri-Cities leaders & business owners have come together in filming a plea to Governor Inslee to open up area facilities.

All are supporting social distancing, hand washing, and the wearing of masks, however, are asking for permission to open up to make a decent wage and keep people working.

Fiesta Mexican Restaurant owner Isidro Ortiz said, "Our sales have dropped at least 80%.  I don't think I can continue to operate much longer like this and I'm sure I am not the only one in the Tri-Cities."

Don Karger, owner of Henry's Restaurant and Catering said that he and his wife "haven't taken a salary since May," and credits Government programs with being able to keep employees on.

Business owners stressed the issue of having to lay off employees.

WA Senator Sharon Brown pleads with Inslee to safely open up businesses during the pandemic.
