The Creepy Clown Phenomenon Continues…Why?

The creepy clown thing started a few weeks ago a just keeps growing to the point where now Ronald McDonald the mascot of McDonald's is laying low...REALLY

McDonald's says Ronald McDonald is keeping a low profile because of the recent creepy clown sightings. The company released a statement to Yahoo that reads: McDonald's is being "thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald's participation in community events" as a result of the "current climate around clown sightings in communities."
