The Makers of the “Carrie” Remake Pranked a Bunch of Customers at a Coffee Shop . . . by Making It Look Like a Girl Had Telekinetic Powers [VIDEO]
The new "Carrie" remake hits theaters October 18th. And to promote it, they staged a pretty crazy prank at a coffee shop in New York. An actress posing as a girl on a computer would flip out when a guy spilled her coffee.
They they made it look like she slammed him against a wall and lifted him up using her mind. They also made all the tables and chairs move around by themselves, and rigged a bunch of books to fly off bookshelves.
But like all these viral-type ad campaigns, the reactions look kind of staged.
