Today Is’ The Great Washington Shake Out’ Statewide Earthquake Drill

Today some 860,000 Washington residents will participate in the 'Great Washington Shake Out' basically it is a statewide earthquake drill. Being from California I grew up doing these drills all of my life and it is important to know what to do when the shaking begins.

Did you know the State of Washington experiences hundreds of earthquakes every year? There's been more than 30 quakes in our region this year, the strongest being a 2.4 magnitude that occurred on June 3rd in Kennewick.
