Man, 2020 has flown by, and not just because of COVID-19.

Our whole lives have changed over the last 10 months.

One sad thing is that hunger never stops no matter the pandemic but the Walla Walla School District is stepping up with free meals for kids through the holiday season.

Walla Walla Public Schools is providing free meals during Winter Break to all children ages 1-18.  It's a great way to make sure kids don't go hungry this holiday season.

According to the Walla Walla School District website. each child will receive a meal box with 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches.

You do have to pre-register and order your meals though and paper pre-order forms are available at each meal pick-up site.

You must re-order by 4 p.m. December 11th and late forms will not be accepted due to the district’s food order deadline.

If you are interested in the free meals for the kids through the holiday, pick up for pre-ordered meals is Saturday, December 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Support Services Building, 1174 Entley St. in Walla Walla.

If you have questions or need assistance, please call 509-527-3016.
