Walmart Ponies Up $30 For Your Old Car Seats Until September 30th

Walmart is helping to rid landfills of old car seats by offering customers $30 (in the form of a gift card) to bring in your old car seats to be recycled

The whole idea to help eliminate plastic waste from reaching landfills. Experts say by recycling car seats it will eliminate roughly the plastic equivalent of 35 million plastic water bottles. The campaign is on this month (September) to celebrate National Baby Safety Month.

Customers are allowed to bring two car seats per family and will receive a $30 gift card from Walmart at participating locations through September 30th.
