Was the ‘Metal Wolf’ Train Bridge Named After a Band, or Vice Versa?

Ask anyone who grew up in Richland before the Yakima train bridge was painted and they'll remember "Metal Wolf" (or sometimes "metalwulf") spray-painted on its side. Some say it was advertising a local band, others say the band was named after the words on the bridge.
