Wet Nose Wednesday: Russell Is Still Looking for Love
Our friends at Pet OverPopulation Prevention have another pooch up for adoption. His name is Russell and if you looking for an energetic pal, he might be perfect for you!
Russell is a 5-year-old large, mixed breed. His mom was a small shepherd mix. He was one of 12 puppies born in the litter. This classy guy has been living the good life since he was adopted.
Life changes happened and the work schedule in Russell's home became more demanding. He appeared to adjust to the changes okay, but when his person started working from home due to COVID he says a lot of positive changes in Russell that had him seeing that once life returns to "normal", Russell will not do well with the return to long hours at home without his person. So, after much thought and lots of sadness, Russell's person decided that it was best for Russell to have someone home more often.
Russell is active, curious, and always ready to go do something. He has not been around cats or children much.
Due to his energy level, he would do best in a home without cats and young children.
He has mixed feelings about other dogs. Some he likes, some he doesn't like, and due to his exuberant style of play, sometimes dogs he likes don't like him.
Russell is an over-all good boy that would love to go and do things with his human, keep up his love for an active lifestyle. Russell is potty trained, has his basic canine manners, is current on his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
