It's another Wet Nose Wednesday from our friends at Pet Overpopulation Prevention and we've got the coolest pup up for adoption.

Superman had a best buddy named Krypto and now you can have your own Superman's pal in this Krypto!

Here are Krypto's details:

Hello! I'm Kryptonite, but you can call me Krypto for short!

I'm 4 years young and full of energy, I love to chase my ball. I like other dogs and get along with almost everyone. Even little kids. I do get very food aggressive with people's food so I have to eat by myself.

I have never really gotten to play with a cat even though everyone thinks I would be ok! I need to go on walks and play a lot to help keep me from getting bored because sometimes I dig when I don't get attention.

I'm not very big, but I'm all muscle, I get that from my husky side of the family. I do shed a lot (not my fault) so regular brushings are a must! When I first meet new people, it does take me a few minutes to warm up, I bark and jump but stop after just a couple of minutes!

My dad was really sad I could not live with him anymore, we did everything together, bike rides, road trips, even hotel stays? even if I did eat one of his shoes every now and then? right now I'm in a foster home with kids and dogs and we all get along but I can't wait to find a home again, a family of my very own.

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.

LOOK: Stunning animal photos from around the world

From grazing Tibetan antelope to migrating monarch butterflies, these 50 photos of wildlife around the world capture the staggering grace of the animal kingdom. The forthcoming gallery runs sequentially from air to land to water, and focuses on birds, land mammals, aquatic life, and insects as they work in pairs or groups, or sometimes all on their own.
