Will Spider-Man Costumes Ever Be Fun Again in Tri-Cities?

Has the on-going molestation trial of the local man famous for dressing up as Spider-Man ruined the costume for everyone else? Even if the man is found innocent, will you ever feel comfortable again dressing up as Spider-Man for a kid-friendly event?

Spider-Man is my Halloween costume this year, and a lot of people have asked if it's tainted for me. I try not to think about it, I've always loved the character and this is my first legit Spidey suit.
