Smasne Cellars Set To Open New Tasting Room in Prosser

If you've driven through Prosser over the last few years I'm sure you've noticed the empty Olsen Estate building located near Airfield Estates, well good news...

The building will once again come to life thanks to a collaboration between Robert Smasne (Smasne Cellars) and Sean Tudor (2dor Wines)

According to Wine Reporter Extraordinaire Andy Perdue:

The 12,000-square-foot winery has been for sale since the Olsen family shuttered its business in 2011 to focus exclusively on wine grape growing.
With Interstate 82 less than 100 yards away, the winery is one of the most visible in Washington.

According to the article the tasting room is set to open in mid-June. I personally cannot wait to visit and more importantly taste!!
