Women Receives Ransom Note for Returned Rabbit

Just when you thought there was a happy ending to the recent rabbit kidnapping, the story takes an ugly turn.

Aurora the bunny was stolen a few weeks back from her cage at the Tri-Cities Rabbit Rescue.

Aurora then reappeared a few days ago in good health and owner Darcy was delighted.

The story sadly has taken an ugly turn as Darcy discovered a ransom note for the rabbit on her front porch a day later demanding $200.

Darcy suspects that the same kids who stole Aurora are the ones who left the ransom note.

Darcy has contacted the Police and are working with them to find out the author of this ransom note.

It's a pretty scary and sad story - we hope the Police can get this matter resolved asap.
