
19-Year Old Woman Killed in Wrong-Way Crash Near Moses Lake
A woman is dead after a man traveling the wrong way hit her vehicle head-on.
The accident happened Thursday, just after 9:45 pm in Grant County.

47-year-old Jorge Sanchez of Moses Lake was driving a pickup truck eastbound in the westbound lane of I-90, just east of Moses Lake.
Sanchez collided with the victim's vehicle in the left lane at Milepost 190. His truck was stopped in the median while Stoddard's car was found on the shoulder of westbound I-90.
19-year-old Sierra Stoddard was deceased at the scene. Sanchez was life-flighted to an area hospital for his injuries.
Both parties were wearing their seatbelts.
Troopers say the crash was caused by Sanchez driving in the wrong direction. It's believed that alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision. Charges against Sanchez are pending.
