The highest scoring Pac-12 contest ever, 130 points, went to UCLA last night, as the Bruins came back from a 32-point third quarter deficit, 49-17, scoring an unbelievable 50 points in the second half, rallying to defeat the Washington State Cougars 67-63 in a late night Pac-12 thriller.

Simply staggering were the Cougars numbers: 63 points, 720 yards of offense and they still lost. Six total turnovers including the ball on the ground five times. UCLA recovered all five.

WSU now heads to Salt Lake City to play Utah, another team that choked away its game this weekend. That contest was projected to be a game between a pair of top 15 teams will now feature one team (probably) out of the top 25 and another in its bottom half.

Washington State's Anthony Gordon shattered the WSU school record for passing touchdowns in a game, nine, bettering the seven thrown last year at Arizona by the special guest of the night on the Palouse, Gardner Minshew.
