Yakima Is On a ‘Best City for Beer Lovers’ List

I came across a study from ApartmentGuide.com that listed the best cities in America for beer lovers. It's based on the number of breweries per capita. Yakima made the list! We are at No. 28.

Our population is listed at 98,884. They list 10 breweries, which averages out to 11 breweries per 100,000 people.

Other Washington cities on the list: Spokane (No. 24), Olympia (No. 23) and Bellingham (No. 11). Yakima finished ahead of Vancouver (No. 33) and Seattle (No. 39). Bend, Ore., landed in the No 3 spot overall.
