Caught On Video, Yakima Thieves Try And Get Away And Look Dumb Doing It

An incident in Yakima Washington looks like it could have been an episode of the World's Dumbest Criminals on Tru-TV. I hope the original video makes it to the network.

I want to clarify that I grew up in a family of criminals and so my commentary on these two criminal wannabes comes with some experience and validity. I thought I'd seen it all since my own family tends to be bumbling idiots. If you aren't good at something, you should rethink your choices.

The incident occurred at the Yakima Harbor Freight Store where two "brilliant" thieves try and steal a generator. Joshua Alexander managed to capture the video and I think Alexander's taping of their foiled escape helped in preventing the crooks from getting away with a generator.

KEPR-TV posted the video and the article and thanks to Alexander's video, we get to see the bumbling thieves attempt to load a stolen generator into their ride.

The video captured the two shoplifters as they attempted to load a stolen generator into their vehicle and they discover it doesn't fit.

They try and leave, and they end up almost dragging the stolen generator as their car door snags the generator.

Yakima Police still haven't found the thieves but luckily Joshua's video seems to have captured their license plate on video.
