Richland is getting a new McDonald's but it won't be in south Richland or Queensgate. It won't be up north by PNNL or Horn Rapids. You'll never guess.

According to the city's building department, the new McDonald's restaurant will be in the old bank building on George Washington Way on the corner of Williams (across from Denny's and Uptown Shopping Center).

It's a great spot for it. The building already has a drive through, a spacious lobby and ample parking.

To protect traffic flow on GW Way they can make people enter the back on Guyer Avenue (which sees almost no traffic) and that will bring increased exposure to the businesses back there.
