If you didn't get enough of Rebecca Black's "Friday", we have a new video that might be even worse.
If you didn't get enough of Rebecca Black's "Friday", we have a new video that might be even worse.
Every year, the folks over at JibJab give us an animated year in review, and they’ve done it again for 2011.
You’ll find a lot of 2011′s top newsmakers and stories in the clip below, including (deep breath) Charlie Sheen, Herman Cain, Lindsey Lohan, Dr. Conrad Murray, Arnold’s Schwarzenegger’s love child, unemployment, Anthony Weiner, Rupert Murdoch, the Japan earthquake and non-gay Bert and Ernie.
Pop diva Katy Perry had a surprise for those attending her Nokia Theater concert in LA last week: a duet with special guest Rebecca Black. It was a Friday night, of course.
Rebecca Black, as you’ll recall, is the auto-tuned teenager who endured months of criticism and parody when her amateur pop single ‘Friday‘ and its accompanying video went viral, racking up 167 million views on YouTube and countless parodies.
To make sure she strikes while the fleeting iron of fame is hot, the beleaguered 14-year-old is back with a much-anticipated follow-up. It’s called ‘My Moment’ and the music video is semi-autobiographical, showing clips of her life since ‘Friday’ took off earlier this year. The single will drop on iTunes tomorrow and Black will release a 5-track EP next month.
In one of the most "duh" moments of all time, infamous Internet sensation Rebecca Black has filmed a cameo appearance in the video for Katy Perry's new single, 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).'
The 13-year-old 'Friday' singer can be seen in the background in the teaser for Perry's music video, looking like she's having fun, fun, fun and thinking about the weekend.
The video also featured our first look at Perry's alter-ego, Kathy Beth Terry, whom you can friend on Facebook.
Rebecca Black's 15 minutes of fame are almost over, but we still got a kick out of this latest parody video, in which President Barack Obama sing-speaks lyrics from Black's infamously viral single 'Friday.'
Of course, he didn't actually sing it; the video simply pulled together clips of Obama saying words like, you know, "Friday."
Still, the idea that Obama even knows about Rebecca Black is enough to get us watching -- and laughing.
New and old media alike have been abuzz about a music video from an unknown pop singer named Rebecca Black that's so bad it's...still pretty bad. The song is called "Friday" and in it, Black waxes poetic about anticipation for the weekend and driving around with her girlfriends in the most literal way possible. To wit:
Kickin' in the front seat/Sittin' in the backseat/Gotta make my mind up/Which seat can I take?
