Foreigner is coming to the Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo August 25th. It's going to be a fantastic night of music highlighted by massive hits and a rock band still sounding great past their prime radio single days. I'm excited and I thought I'd walk you down memory lane celebrating the music of Foreigner and get you ready for the fair sing-a-longs

The show starts at 6pm August 25th and the reserved seats are sold out. The good news is that you can still see the show from the grass and grandstands with your purchased fair ticket.

Don't miss the show.

I Want To Know What Love Is

This heartfelt ballad is one of the strongest songs ever recorded, other artists have re-recorded it and with the addition of the New Jersey Mass Choir sends this song into the stratosphere. It's such a big song that Sting (who was recording next door) dropped everything to see who was creating this masterpiece. It's a #1 that has lasted the test of time and worth the cost of a ticket to see live.

    Hot Blooded

This jam just oozes Rock n' Roll. It's on Foriegener's second album Double Vision and has become timeless. It's been used in so many commercials, TV shows and Movies that listing them would take hours. It's surely going to be the encore so stay for the encore.

    Urgent

The sax solo by Jr. Walker is the absolute best coupled by that signature bass line and soaring vocals by Lou Gramm. It's their second best selling of all-time making it a must at the show.

    Juke Box Hero

It's ominous bass line and throbbing guitar licks makes this Foreigner track the crowd-pleaser that gets folks up and dancing. It's a love letter to anyone aspiring to be in a rock-n-roll band.

    Cold As Ice

This is quintessential Foreigner. It's the song that was blaring out car speakers as kids cruised the avenue in 1977. It was on their debut LP and set the stage for further hits from this American/English band of rockers.
