Ben Franklin Transit is offering free bus rides to the fair, and I thought I'd make a list of where you can jump on the bus for free around the Columbia Basin.

From Kennewick to Richland, Free Buses Will Get You to the Benton Franklin Fair

Here's where you can get a free bus ride:

Pasco:

  • HAPO Center (South Side):
    • Bus runs hourly starting at 9:00 a.m.
    • Bus runs every 30 minutes from 4:00 p.m. to midnight
  • 22nd Avenue Transit Center:
    • Bus runs hourly starting at 9:00 a.m.
    • Bus runs every 30 minutes from 4:00 p.m. to midnight

Kennewick:

  • Kamiakin High School (Near Tennis Courts):
    • Bus runs hourly starting at 9:00 a.m.
    • Bus runs every 30 minutes from 4:00 p.m. to midnight
  • Lampson Stadium Parking Lot:
    • Buses run every 30 minutes starting at 9:00 a.m.
    • Buses run every 15 minutes from 4:00 p.m. to midnight

Richland:

  • Knight Street Transit Center:
    • Bus runs hourly starting at 9:15 a.m. (Departs from Northgate)
    • Bus runs every 30 minutes from 4:00 p.m. to midnight (:15/:45)
  • Queensgate Transit Center:
    • Bus runs hourly starting at 9:15 a.m. (Departs from the platform)
    • Bus runs every 30 minutes from 4:00 p.m. to midnight (:15/:45)

The last bus departs the fair at midnight each night, and take it from me, it's just an easier way to get to the fair. Save yourself the hassle and money; take a Ben Franklin transit bus.
