A Sweet Lakeside Camping Resort Is Just a Few Hours Away From Tri-Cities
If you've been looking for a new place to explore this summer for camping and fishing, there's a lake resort a few hours away from Tri-Cities that just might fit the bill.
The question was asked in one of the Tri-Cities Facebook groups that I follow and I discovered in the conversation this really cool lake resort that's close to the Tri-Cities.
I haven't been there yet but I'm putting it on my list to check out.
Bunkers Resort is near Cheney Washington on Lake Williams. The resort was established in 1902 by the Bunker family and is a third-generation family business.
Bunkers Resort offers cabins, RV sites, and tent sites for use and there is no public swimming at the resort. Williams Lake is also stocked with tons of fish courtesy of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Bunkers Resort also has a local restaurant called Xanny's Western Bar and Grill that you can grab grub at if you're hungry.
Williams Lake is well-known for being one of the best places to fish for trout in the state. There are also many other lakes in the area, Amber, Fishtrap, Badger, Chapman, Rock, Downs, Fish, and Sprague worth exploring.
If you've been looking for a new place to explore in Washington State, Bunkers Resort might be worth checking out for your summertime fun.
