Backstreet Boys’ ‘In a World Like This’ Joins Pop Clash Hall of Fame
Congratulations to the Backstreet Boys! The classic boy band's comeback hit, 'In a World Like This,' is the newest entry into the PopCrush Pop Clash Hall of Fame!
The Backstreet Boys nabbed the title after four weeks of creaming their competition. In week one, they beat out Pink's new song 'True Love' featuring Lily Allen. It's an interesting twist for Pink, whose track 'Just Give Me a Reason' was the first entry into the Pop Clash Hall of Fame.
In their second week, BSB conquered Katy Perry's 'Roar.' Both were uplifting anthems, but maybe Perry's clear Sara Bareilles influences divided voters.
Next up against the Backstreet Boys was Perry's press-created rival, Lady Gaga. She didn't earn enough 'Applause' to drown out BSB's votes.
In their final matchup, BSB held their own against fellow boy band the Wanted, with 'In a World Like This' overpowering the British heartthrobs' 'We Own the Night.' The Wanted may own the night, but Backstreet Boys owned Pop Clash! Congrats, BSB! Backstreet really is back (alright!).
