Chris Nokes and Ben Nichols are co-owners of the popular food truck. Originally, Nokes began the business with his wife in 2019. Nichols came onboard as the Nokes family was growing. According to Nokes,
"Ben was my Sous chef back when I was at Fat Olives, before he left the Tri-Cities to be the executive chef of Viva Vegan restaurant in Tacoma, and No-Bones Beach Club in Seattle! Voted best vegan chef in the South Sound area! Fate brought him back to the Tri-Cities right in time to give this Mess a hand! We are super excited to have him on board!"

We drove all the way from Lakewood to try out their burgers and fries. They did not disappoint! The burgers are huge - the hubby and I split the Hot Mess Burger and the PB&J fries. The burger was served on a handmade bun which was awesome. They make their own sauces as well! The fries blew our minds. - Melissa
We stopped here on a whim after our other favorite food truck was closed, and let me say, this place quickly jumped to my favorite food truck of all time! We tried their Eloté fries- AMAZING.
