Here's the incident as filed by the Richland Police Department:

Officers arrived and learned that a large box truck had been driving south on Keene Road when it attempted to make a left turn onto Duportail St.

The truck was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed and ran up onto the sidewalk, hitting the bicyclist.

The adult female bicyclist was transported by ambulance to an area hospital where we gratefully learned she had only minor injuries.
