As Washington State jumps into Phase III today, local bars can now operate at 50% capacity, up to 400 folks can get their concert, graduation or gathering on, and Friday Night Lights will be finding more families in the stands again for high school football. So now we can talk about upcoming concerts with a little more enthusiasm that they will actually happen and not get canceled. From Ice Cube to funnyman Rodney Carrington and a couple of great country acts, the lineup at Northern Quest is looking very good. Brantley Gilbert takes the stage on Aug. 13th, and Darius Rucker is slated for Sept. 24th.

I loved Darius Rucker as the frontman for Hootie and The Blowfish, with great songs like Time, I Only Wanna Be With You, Hold My Hand and Let Her Cry. Hard to believe those songs are nearly 30 years old! These days, Hootie and the boys get together once in a while for a few special appearances, but Darius focuses mostly on his country music career. His latest, Beers and Sunshine shot right to the #1 spot shortly after the song's release. For details on Darius Rucker and the rest of the 2021 lineup, click HERE.
