Dog Dumped in West Richland Gets New Lease on Life
A husky dog is getting a new lease on life thanks to a West Richland Police Officer.
"Helo" was found near Keene Road and Watkins a few weeks back and when the owner couldn't be found, West Richland Police Officer Barrera decided to foster the husky.
It's been a few weeks and so far no one has come forward to claim the dog so, with that information, the West Richland Police Department was happy to announce that Helo has found a new home...
Officer Barrera and his family are adopting Helo!
Apparently, Helo was on his best behavior during his fostering and the Barrera family fell in love and now Helo is a permanent part of the Barrera family.
We love a happy ending and we are so happy for the family and glad Helo has found a new home and is getting a new lease on life.
