DUI Accidents Take out Scenery, Keep Police Busy Over Weekend

Kennewick Officers were kept busy this weekend with a pair of DUI accidents.

Police didn't specify the intersections, but one of them involved a roundabout.

Both vehicles were basically destroyed, but amazingly no serious injuries recorded. In one of them the driver failed to negotiate the roundabout and nearly took out a tree.

Both crashes occurred last Saturday night. It's no secret we've had a lot of accidents in Kennewick with drivers who were intoxicated and failed to pass the roundabout test.

KPD and other officers stress the need for designated drivers if you've been drinking. Otherwise you end up like these folks.
