‘Fashion Police’ to End After 22 Years With Unseen Footage of Joan Rivers

Bad dressers, rejoice!

E! is pulling the plug on the long-running talk show Fashion Police after a 22-year run (wow, 22 years!), reports Variety.

The show, which debuted in 1995, became famous for its scathing critiques of celebrities' outfits, mostly at awards shows (Joan Rivers was a particularly iconic red carpet standout). It became the perfect comeback vehicle for Rivers, whose hilarious and off-color jokes on the show helped re-launch her onto the A-list, while also proving no one was safe from her razor sharp wit.

Rivers' daughter, Melissa, was a longtime panelist and eventually took over hosting after Joan's death in 2014.

E! will give the series a fitting send-off when it formally says goodbye with Fashion Police: The Farewell on Nov. 27. Melissa Rivers will be joined by current panelists Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, NeNe Leakes and Margaret Cho, who will take a stroll down a red carpet-covered memory lane by revisiting some of its most iconic moments. There will also be plenty of highlights of Joan's biting commentary and clips from an '80s-themed episode with her that never aired (see the below video).

“I am so proud to have been a part of this show and am so proud that it’s part of my mother’s legacy,” Melissa Rivers said. “It really changed, along with the red carpets, awards-show programming and fashion."
