If you are searching for a job, the number one thing you're going to run into is a request to see your resume. So if you don't already have one, take a few minutes to throw the basics together.

Next, for every job you apply for, you can adjust the resume to reflect positions that show off why you would be a good fit for the company you're applying for.

Your resume should fit nicely on one page with contact information, you know, so they can reach you to offer you the job!

If you're still feeling stumped, I'd recommend heading to your local WorkSource building. They can offer assistance with your resume, job hunting. Even do interview prep with you. Your goal should be a high volume of applications and the employers are going for quality applicants so make each one count! The more you have out there lessens the blow when messages are received that they've gone with someone else.

As I write this there are over 1,700 jobs available in the Yakima Valley alone based on the Indeed search engine
