Starting today, Yakima Neighborhood Health Services will be rewarding those who vaccinate against the Covid virus with a Safeway gift card. Come and get vaccinated and receive a $10 gift card for each of the two-dose Pfizer/Moderna vaccine or $20 for the one-dose Johnson & Johnson. “This is our way of saying thanks to everyone who makes Yakima a safer community,” said Rhonda Hauff, CEO. She especially encouraged businesses that had to lay off employees due to the pandemic to let them know about this opportunity. To set up an appointment, call 454-4143 in Yakima and 837-8200 in Sunnyside. The gift cards will be available as long as supplies last.

The good news is you don't have to be a regular patient of Yakima Neighborhood Health to get vaccinated and a gift card.
