Some homeowners want Hank dead, while animal activists are saying, "Not so fast."
Can you imagine?
Lake Tahoe Police have had to scare the bear away numerous times to keep people safe. The Department of Fish and Wildlife has been dealing with the break ins for months. What do you do? Do you kill the bear or catch and release him somewhere else?
38 homes in the Tahoe area have been broken into by Hank.
Some want Hank trapped and killed.
But what about animal activists? Why isn't relocation an option? The Bear League says Killing Hank is cruel and unnecessary. They're hoping for the bear to be moved to a wildlife sanctuary.
