High Winds Caused Fire To Spread Near Toppenish
A wildfire burned overnight near Toppenish and it has firefighters watching for hot spots near Tule Road.
A large brush fire started Wednesday night and quickly spread down the hill, and about 100 acres had already burned.
The good news is that the fire was contained around 2:30 AM this morning but not after 2,000 to 2,500 acres have been destroyed.
They currently don't know what started the fire.
