Hope Solo Failed Drug Test Unfairly Attacked By Media

I have been seeing it all over the headlines, "Olympian Hope Solo Warned After Positive Drug Test," or "Hope Solo Failed A Drug Test, Will Still Play In Olympics." From first glance, these article headlines picture Hope Solo to be some cheater or criminal. This is simply not the case.

Apparently, the drug was Canrenone, a pre-menstrual drug prescribed to Hope by her DOCTOR. The reason this drug is banned is because it has diuretic properties but heck, coffee has diuretic properties, too and it's not banned.

Regardless, our local star, Hope Solo will still be competing in the Olympics because she thankfully only received a warning. I just wish these articles would stop making innocent Hope Solo out to be a bad guy.
