How’d This Stolen Bike Get from Lewiston to Prosser? Deputies Want to Know

We all know inanimate objects cannot transport themselves--at least unless they're a Transformer. But in this case, we're pretty sure a property owner near Prosser has some questions to answer.

Benton County Deputies were conducting a followup on a stolen property case when they say they 'stumbled' across this motocross bike, which turns out was reported stolen recently from Lewiston, Idaho.

The owner has been contacted and will be coming to Kennewick to pick it up. But were hardly thinking the Deputies 'stumbled' across it. We're thinking the property owner where it was found has some explaining to do?
