Ice Turned Roads into Skating Rinks Monday Morning

Like many area communities, roads that ordinarily don't present an issue turned into slick skating areas due to overnight snow and ice.

Monday morning, this vehicle was involved in a collision on South Union in Kennewick near 10th. The gradual downhill slope of Union Northbound can make for a challenge when there's black ice or slick roads. No word of any injuries, but traffic snarled for a while.

Although overnight we could see a little more snow, temps expected to warm into low 40's this week.
