When it comes to wine, Washington State ranks right up there with California. And, Walla Walla is home to some of the best wineries.

Not that I'm a wine connoisseur by any means, however, I do enjoy the occasional spritz of pino grigio every now and then. I've gone wine tasting a time or two with friends and had a blast. Although, I couldn't tell you if I prefer red or white.

There's nothing better than a day of wine tasting, although, topping off the excursion with an overnight stay could do it. According to USA Today, the Inn at Abeja is ranked in the Top 10 of Best Wine Country Hotels.

Upon check-in, those staying at this cozy getaway in Walla Walla are greeted with a glass of wine from the adjacent Abeja Winery. Guests also receive member access to the private Abeja list and can make appointments for guided or self-guided wine tastings. The rooms are gorgeous and unique in style, varying from the rustic Chicken Coop to the towering Hayloft Suite.
