It's happened to all of us. Maybe you've been stuck behind a car that was too timid to use a circle property, maybe they stopped in the circle to let other cars in. Whatever the case may be, you're frustrated. You look at the license plate of the idiot car in front of you. Everything starts to make sense.

They're from out of town! You roll your eyes and never think of the situation again. Except for two weeks later when you get cut off on the highway. Hey, you recognize that the license plate is out of state! I know I have certain license plates that set me off for some reason. Maybe I'm a bit of a territorial type. But I asked around and found that not only am I not weird, but other people get ticked off at certain license plates.

California

One thing that both the east side and the west side of the state can agree on is that we don't really like California license plates. Seeing them out in the wild certainly causes me to tense up on the highway, I don't know about you.

Oregon

Now, Oregon is our neighbor to the south so along that bottom half of the state, you will see your fair share of Oregon plates on highways and in driveways. However, when we are inconvenienced by a car with Oregon plates, Washingtonians fly into a rage.

Idaho

Whether Idaho folks deserve it or not, that red, white, and blue license plate draws a mixed reaction in Washington. We either want to move to Idaho or never visit and there's no in-between.
