Surprise: Reese Witherspoon Shops For Books In Coeur D’Alene
Actress Reese Witherspoon has become a power-house producer thanks to her savvy strategy of securing the film/tv rights of popular books. But it's not just a business to Reese - she genuinely loves to read. The star even has her own book club, like Oprah.
So while it's surprising to hear that Witherspoon was visiting our neighbors in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, it's not shocking at all that she was browsing for books there.
If you follow Witherspoon on Instagram, you already know that the lead from Legally Blonde and Apple TV's The Morning Show shared video and pics of herself at The Well-Read Moose, a popular independent Coeur d'Alene bookstore.
Witherspoon also posted images of bookshelves at the The Well-Read Moose. We're guessing she likes the personal touch of handwritten "staff picks." But is there a clue here as to what her next big screen adaptation will be?
Is there a clue here? I spy a local author.
We think Legally Blonde's Elle Woods would find this poster/tapestry/greeting card Advice from a Moose tots adorbs. If only it came in pink.
Witherspoon tagged the Netflix series The Home Edit in one image, with the caption IYKYK. Translation for the abbreviation impaired: "If you know, you know."
And we know, Reese. We know...
So there you have it. The story everyone from Central Washington to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is talking about today: Hollywood Superstar Shops for Books in Local Bookstore. A nice, positive distraction on an otherwise unremarkable day.
We bet you can find your happy place in a bookstore as well, because... Celebrities! They're just like us! At least Reese Witherspoon seems to be.
