Juvenile Arrested and Charged With Possession

If you were near Pasco High School, near 12th and Margaret yesterday at 3 pm, you may have noticed there was a heavy police presence.

Pasco Police received a call reporting an assault involving two males at 14th and Henry.  With the caller's description, the suspect was located near 12th and Margaret.

As the suspect was running through yards, police ordered him to stop.  Police surrounded the neighborhood and eventually caught up to the 16-year old juvenile.  The boy ditched his shoes, shorts, and shirt.  He was arrested in his gym shorts.

After investigating, police found a loaded pistol on the ground in one of the yards he ran through. In this photo, the circle shows where the pistol was found.

The juvenile was arrested for unlawful possession of a handgun and booked into Juvenile Detention.

Later last night, it was reported that a neighbor found a matching pistol magazine in their yard.
